Associate Minister
St Peter, Halliwell
Diocese of Manchester
We are looking for a prayerful pastor and gifted teacher who will support the Vicar in leading this busy and flourishing parish of four churches in the north-east part of Bolton during an exciting season of new opportunities for mission across the generations, deepening discipleship among our congregations, and transformative ministry for the wider town of Bolton in the name and for the glory of Jesus Christ.
We are seeking a Minister who will be:
- A motivated, prayerful, faith-led self-starter who will be a team leader and player – collaborative, pastoral, encouraging and supportive, while eager to get things done.
- Relational and organised – able to support leaders and ministry teams across the churches, to lead pastoral and administrative teams and to be the first port of call for pastoral offices.
- A thoughtful, eager reader and an engaging and insightful teacher of Scripture.
- Passionate about growing Christian disciples, engaging and serving the wider local community, and encouraging all to explore their vocations.
- Able to develop and communicate shared vision and strategy with energy, excitement and a willingness to ‘own’ them as a key leader alongside the Vicar.
- Deeply committed to the spiritual well-being of all, including their own personal faith.
