Vicar

St Stephen and St Wulstan

Selly Park | Diocese of Birmingham

‘Knowing Jesus, and Making Jesus Known’

We are a lively, conservative evangelical, intergenerational church, seeking to appoint our next Senior Minister. Located in a mainly residential suburb of Birmingham, bordering the University of Birmingham campus, our congregations are diverse in age and ethnicity, with a substantial number of families.

We are outward-looking, with a desire to grow in our ability to reach the parish and university with the good news of Jesus. We have a variety of existing ministries, and are open to new possibilities, including church planting.

As a resolution church under the extended episcopal care of +Ebbsfleet, we are looking for a Vicar who:

  •       Is an expository Bible-teacher, who will help us apply God’s Word to our lives.

  •       Will bring strategic leadership to help us develop our vision for outreach and gospel growth.

  •       Is a leader of leaders, able to work effectively with our staff and volunteers, and develop our ministry team.

  •       Has a passion for evangelism and making disciples of Jesus.

  •       Is encouraging and supportive, with experience of growth in parish ministry.
