Decades of tradition. Endless fun. A life-changing week with Jesus.
As a camp (previously known as Foremarke 1) we have been around for a long time (which you can tell from looking at some of the leaders) but moved to the Orwell site in 2021 and have been known as Orwell 1 ever since.
We are made up primarily of people from across five core churches who we partner with, covering Brighton, Cambridge, Oxford, Lowestoft and Norwich. But there is always space for people from elsewhere too, and we love having leaders come back to serve with us even when they have moved away. Each year we are excited and praying that we grow lifelong followers of Christ on the holiday of our lives, and everything we do over the week – whether traditions like the crumble song and crocker, or new activities, seminars and talk schemes - feeds into this. WE LOVE IT!
