Growing young people into mature followers of Jesus through fun, friendship, and faith.
Our aim is to share the gospel and have as much fun as possible in the process. It is widely regarded by experts as the world's best summer camp, and the best week in the year.
We started in the 1990s, and have been based in Hazlegrove prep school near the village of Sparkford in Somerset ever since. It's a fantastic site with huge grounds and great facilities. We pack the program with fun and activities and a different theme each year: 'the ancient Greeks' (Sparkopolis 3), 'pirates' (Sparrrrkford 3), 'Scandi' (Sparkfjord 3)...
A guiding Bible verse for us is Colossians 1: “He [Jesus] is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ." Our aim is to see all young people presented mature in Christ. We want those who are already Christians to grow in their discipleship, and those who are not yet Christians to receive the life-changing life-giving message of Jesus. To that end we have a program of bible studies, talks and seminars, and we watch God change people's hearts by his Spirit as we prayerfully and faithfully teach his word. All people from all backgrounds are welcome. We have a long-standing connection with a range of different churches across the country, but many come from beyond these partner churches, and we love welcoming new people.
