We are a welcoming, all-age church family within a large, friendly village situated beside the famous Pilgrims’ Way in West Kent, surrounded by beautiful countryside yet within easy access of London. The ideal candidate will be:
- able to lead us in a variety of worship styles and comfortable with a broad range of Anglican traditions, rooted in prayer and Bible teaching.
- an effective preacher who can present the Gospel in an engaging and relatable way, demonstrating the relevance of the church today.
- a good listener and leader, who can encourage and develop the congregation.
- a godly role model who can connect with people of all ages and is passionate about nurturing and growing the church.
- supportive of our very active children’s and youth ministry and the appointment of a part-time family/youth worker, for which finances are available.
- committed to pastoral care across the parish and able to build on our existing relationships with the local schools and community.
